Meet the Director

Rev. Dr. Jim Vigil

Rev. Dr. Jim Vigil is an ordained Assemblies of God minister with over 30 years of ministry experience, having served as a Lead Pastor, Church Planter, Chaplain, Professor, and Vice President of Student Development. For seven years, he served in executive leadership at Central Bible College, where he helped shape the spiritual and personal formation of future ministry leaders. He has also served on the faculty at both Central Bible College and Southeastern University, teaching courses in biblical studies, pastoral theology, and pastoral care and counseling.

Throughout his ministry, Dr. Vigil has cultivated a deep passion for the emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being of pastors and their families. With his M.Div. degree in Family Pastoral Care & Counseling and his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling and Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training from UCLA Medical Center, he brings both theological depth and compassionate insight to his leadership.

Dr. Vigil’s vision for the Pastor Care Center and the Minister Care & Wellness Department is to provide ministers with the kind of care they often extend to others—confidential, compassionate, and comprehensive—so they can thrive in life and ministry for the long haul.
